The Bridgent BDG-CS0815 Synchronous Chip Sealing Distributor is engineered for maximum productivity on large highway chip seal projects. With an 8500-liter asphalt tank and a massive 15000-liter aggregate bin — the largest in our chip sealer lineup — the BDG-CS0815 significantly reduces the number of aggregate refilling stops required per day, translating directly into more kilometers of road treated and lower cost per square meter.
The BDG-CS0815 is a sophisticated construction vehicle comprising multiple integrated systems: the asphalt distribution system, the aggregate distribution system, the power system, the control system, the radar speed-measuring system, and the mixing system. All systems are controlled through a single PLC interface, allowing a two-person crew to operate the machine efficiently.
The aggregate distribution system features a dual-conveyor design that ensures consistent chip flow from the large bin to the spreader gate. The spreader gate mechanism distributes stone chips uniformly across the full spray width, with the gate opening continuously adjusted by the PLC based on vehicle speed and the target chip application rate.
The asphalt distribution system uses the Belgium JOHNSON pump for consistent, reliable flow. The 8500-liter rapid heating tank with vertical spiral mixing device maintains asphalt quality throughout the extended working day. The triple-overlap nozzle pattern ensures uniform asphalt coverage that is essential for proper aggregate embedment and long-lasting chip seal performance.
For highway projects in challenging terrain or with strict quality requirements, the BDG-CS0815 can be equipped with optional features including a fiber addition system for rubberized asphalt chip sealing, an automatic aggregate pre-wetting system, and an advanced GPS-based application rate recording system for project documentation and quality control.
