Overview
The Bridgent BDG-EP06F Bitumen Emulsion Plant is a compact, efficient, and cost-effective solution for producing emulsified asphalt in warm climate regions where the bitumen does not require additional heating before processing. The plant's modular design, with all components mounted on a single base frame, makes it exceptionally easy to transport between project sites and set up for operation.
The BDG-EP06F uses a high-shear colloid mill to produce emulsified asphalt with consistent particle size distribution and stable emulsion quality. The colloid mill speed and the bitumen-to-water ratio are controlled by the PLC system, allowing the plant to produce a wide range of emulsion types — cationic, anionic, slow-setting, medium-setting, and rapid-setting — by adjusting the emulsifier type and concentration.
The plant's production capacity of 6 tons per hour is well-suited for small to medium road construction projects, chip seal operations, and micro-surfacing projects. The compact dimensions allow the plant to be operated in confined spaces, making it suitable for urban road maintenance projects where space is limited.
