Overview
The Bridgent BDG-CIR200 Cold In-Place Asphalt Recycling Equipment provides an eco-friendly and cost-effective solution for pavement rehabilitation by recycling the existing asphalt pavement material in place. Rather than removing and disposing of the old pavement and importing new materials, the CIR process reclaims the existing asphalt, mixes it with emulsified asphalt and water, and uses it as a high-quality base material for the rehabilitated pavement.
The BDG-CIR200's 200 t/h processing capacity makes it suitable for large highway rehabilitation projects. The plant processes reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) through a series of stages: screening to remove oversized particles, mixing with emulsified asphalt and water in precise ratios, and discharging the finished recycled asphalt mixture for placement and compaction.
The PLC and HMI control system allows the operator to set the target ratio of each material — RAP, emulsified asphalt, water, and optional cement or lime — in real time. The system monitors the actual output and adjusts the material feed rates to maintain the target ratios, ensuring consistent recycled asphalt quality throughout the project.
The unique mixer blade arrangement ensures even mixing of the reclaimed materials and emulsified asphalt, producing new mixtures with an optimum mixing effect. The closed-loop control system, composed of a frequency converter, sensor, and master controller, increases the precision of the material matching ratio to ≤0.5% for aggregate, ≤0.3% for powder, ≤0.3% for water, and ≤0.3% for emulsified asphalt.
The BDG-CIR200's frame structure design allows the control room and electrical system to be connected and disconnected easily, enabling flexible layout configurations based on site conditions. The plant can be set up and operational within a few hours of arrival at the project site.
