The Bridgent BDG-AD8000 Asphalt Distributor Truck is the workhorse of major highway construction and rehabilitation projects. With an 8000-liter insulated asphalt tank, a 162kW (220HP) chassis engine, and a 6000mm spray bar, the BDG-AD8000 delivers the capacity, power, and precision required for high-volume road construction operations.
The BDG-AD8000's thermal oil heating system is powered by an independent diesel burner with automatic temperature control. The system heats the asphalt uniformly throughout the tank, preventing the temperature stratification that can cause inconsistent viscosity and uneven spray patterns. The automatic temperature controller maintains the target temperature with ±2°C precision, ensuring optimal atomization quality throughout the working day.
The Belgium JOHNSON asphalt pump provides superior self-priming performance and consistent flow at all operating speeds. The pump's wide speed range allows precise control of the spray volume from 0.2 to 3 kg/m², covering the full range of application rates required for different road treatment types. The pump's air-tight seal prevents asphalt leakage and maintains consistent flow pressure.
The intelligent PLC control system integrates all operational parameters — temperature, spray volume, vehicle speed, and pump output — into a single operator interface. The radar speed-measuring device continuously monitors vehicle speed and automatically adjusts the pump output to maintain the programmed application rate, eliminating the manual adjustments that can lead to over- or under-application.
For international projects, the BDG-AD8000 can be configured with different chassis brands (FAW, FOTON, SINOTRUK, or HOWO) and customized with different tank volumes, spray bar widths, and auxiliary engine options to meet specific project and regulatory requirements.
